April is Earth Month, and Earth Day, April 22, is widely celebrated as a day to promote environmental awareness and action. During April, Market of Choice is supporting local land trusts in each of its communities; customers can donate at the register, and Market of Choice will match donations — up to $10,000 across all stores.

The funds will be distributed based on the amount each store or region raises. That means the more donations a location collects, the more matching funds will go to the local land trust. 

In Eugene, which includes the Delta Oaks, Franklin, Willakenzie, and Willamette Market of Choice stores, all funds will go to the McKenzie River Trust. 

Shoppers can contribute any amount, up to $249 per transaction, and 100% of the donations will go directly to the watershed projects.
