Founding Members’ early support fuels our newsroom of 16 – the largest local Oregon newsroom outside of Portland. That staff has already brought more than a thousand stories to life – many of them only reported by Lookout. 

And our Founding Members also help make Lookout in the Classroom possible. Through that program, endorsed by top local education leaders, we provide Lane County educators and students with free access to local reporting, along with lesson guides that help teachers use real-time news to spark critical thinking and civic engagement. It’s one of the ways your support stretches beyond our journalism to make a lasting impact in schools across the county.
