Each day I drive on Highway 126 and cannot avoid the billboard ads paid for by Christine Drazan’s gubernatorial campaign. A close-up photo of Gov. Tina Kotek looking embarrassed/morose (AI-generated?) with the caption: “Is THIS working?”
I find calling our governor “THIS” demeaning, meant as a double entendre, a reference to a nonperson or worse. How callous and insensitive of Drazan’s ad campaign.
The next panel on the e-billboard shows a smiling Drazan, with a blue background to match her eyes, referencing “the Drazan Plan.” A plan is just that; there is no guarantee of implementation. Instead, check out Drazan’s voting record as a state senator and see what she really cares about.
