Springfield has always been a community that works hard and gets through tough times together. But lately, it feels like the answer from city leadership has been the same every time: raise more money.
More levies. More fees. More enforcement tools like traffic cameras. And now a Eugene-style payroll tax on workers and small businesses.
At some point, you have to ask, when is it enough? Families are already dealing with rising costs everywhere else. Government shouldn’t be adding to that burden.
That’s why I’m voting for David Loveall for Lane County commissioner. He understands that before you ask taxpayers for more, you should make sure you’re spending wisely in the first place.
Lane County needs that kind of common-sense leadership right now. I’m voting for David Loveall because we can’t afford four years of Sean VanGordon.
