I had to brush up on what these folks do. Come to find out, it’s important. Put simply, they serve us, the public, by managing budgets for roads, healthcare, law enforcement and disaster relief. 

I want someone who cares about the public, people, us, to do this job, and do it well, so I strongly support Heather Buch. 

Heather has already demonstrated her work ethic and passion for helping residents. She has served our community in measurable ways, such as helping secure millions in funding for wildfire recovery after the Holiday Farm Fire, securing health care funding and leading the effort to open Cottage Grove’s South Lane clinic, a much needed local and affordable option. 

Given the current uncertainty, reelecting Heather to serve as a bulwark against the current administration seems like a no-brainer as, unlike her opponents, she wants to help expand health care in Lane County.
