Children and families are invited to a free “New Year’s at Noon” party Wednesday, Dec. 31, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the downtown Eugene Public Library, 100 W. 10th Ave.
The bilingual party will feature games, crafts, face painting and dancing — and includes a balloon drop at noon. The event will be held on the fourth floor of the library, an area newly available for large public events.
“‘New Year’s at Noon” is a party where kids and their grown-ups can celebrate together without staying up late,” said Library Director Angela Ocaña in a news release. “It’s a really fun, popular event each year.”
