During a special session last fall, lawmakers passed a bill to raise the gas tax, car registration fees and other taxes and fees to fill a budget hole at ODOT. Republicans gathered enough signatures to pause the increases and instead put the issue to voters in November. Now Democrats want the vote moved to May.
