Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Sacred Heart Medical Ctr – Riverbend at 3333 Riverbend Dr, was cited for issues during a county health inspection on October 22. The restaurant scored 95 out of 100. The inspector found that vacuum packaging cooked beef was done without proper approval and the packages were dated incorrectly; these were discarded immediately. Wiping cloths in sanitizer buckets were not fully submerged, which was fixed by refilling the sanitizer solution. Clean dishes were drying on a cloth instead of a proper surface, so the cloth was removed to prevent contamination. All issues were corrected during the inspection. (view report)
