Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: Construction is happening near the corners of 18th and Hilyard Street this week. Expect some delays and possible lane reductions to just one lane. There will be traffic cones and signs to help guide you. Construction is also taking place at Columbia Street and East 17th Avenue from Monday through today. This work affects parts of East 17th Avenue (from east of Agate Street to Columbia Street and from East 17th Avenue to Moss Avenue), as well as sections of Columbia Street and Columbia Alley. Construction will continue through summer 2027. Vehicle detours are set up at Agate Street, East 17th Avenue, Columbia Street, Moss Street, and East 19th Avenue. Pedestrian routes are also detoured, and bike lanes on Agate Street and Moss Street are closed and combined with traffic lanes. Large trucks and construction equipment are in the area.
