Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – Construction is happening near the corners of 18th and Hilyard Street this week. Lanes may be reduced to one, so expect some delays. Watch for construction signs and workers if you’re driving, biking, or walking in the area.
- There is major construction near the shoulders of Willamette Street and West 52nd Avenue this week. Heavy equipment will be moving in and out, which may cause delays. Access to the Ridgeline Trail from the southwest corner of West 52nd Avenue and South Willamette Street, and the Ridgeline Trail parking west of South Willamette Street, will be closed as needed.
- From Monday through Friday this week, parking will be closed on the west side of Portland Street between W 30th Avenue and W 29th Place, and in parts of the parking area north of W 29th Place to W 28th Avenue. The west side sidewalk of Portland Street between W 30th Avenue and W 29th Place will also be closed. Pedestrians should use the temporary ramp and sidewalk on the east side of Portland Street, and a temporary path on the north side of W 30th Avenue to reach Portland Street.
- Construction is happening this week on Vine Maple Street, Spring Boulevard, Pine Canyon Drive, Huckleberry Street, and South Ridge Drive, including nearby sidewalks. Roads may be reduced to one lane or temporarily closed, so expect some delays and follow traffic signs.
- Road paving is taking place this week on Hilyard Street between 34th and 40th Avenue, Friendly Street and the 18th Avenue area, 24th Avenue from Hilyard to Agate, and Alder Street between 30th and 32nd Avenue. Traffic impact is expected to be low.
