- A hit-and-run was reported near 145 E 18th Ave., Eugene, on Sept. 5 at 11 p.m.
- A car crash happened near Seavey Loop Rd at 3 p.m. on Sept. 5. It is not known if anyone was hurt.
- A report was taken about unattended children near 275 E 19th Ave., Eugene at 5 p.m. on Sept. 6.
- A dog bite was reported near 2170 Harvard Dr, Eugene, at 8 a.m. on Sept. 6.
- A report of theft by deception was taken near 2765 Potter St., Eugene, at 2 p.m. on Sept. 7.

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – Construction is happening near 18th and Hilyard Street this week. Lanes may be reduced to one, so expect moderate delays. – Construction is ongoing in the parking lot at Willamette Street and W 52nd Avenue this week. Heavy equipment will be moving in and out, but major work is almost done.
- From Monday through Friday this week, construction at W 30th Avenue and Portland Street will close parking on the west side of Portland Street from W 30th Avenue to W 29th Place, and some parking north to W 28th Avenue. The west sidewalk of Portland Street between W 30th Avenue and W 29th Place will be closed to pedestrians. Pedestrians should use the temporary ramp and sidewalk on the east side.
- Starting today, the west half of McLean Boulevard from Graham Drive to the cul-de-sac will be milled. Road base work will happen Wednesday and Thursday. Paving will take place Thursday and Friday, including driveways and the area near McLean and Chambers. Two detours will be in place: one rerouting traffic through Lasater, Randy, and 29th streets to McKendrick Street and McLean Boulevard, and another sending Graham Drive traffic to Chambers Street via 28th Street.
- Paving work is happening this week on Vine Maple Street, Spring Boulevard, Pine Canyon Drive, Huckleberry Street, and South Ridge Drive, including nearby sidewalks. Roads may be narrowed to one lane or temporarily closed, so expect moderate delays.
- Construction continues this week on Hilyard Street between 40th and 34th Avenue, the Friendly Street and 18th area, 24th Avenue from Hilyard to Agate, and Alder Street from 30th to 32nd. Crews are finishing up with cleanup and minor repairs. The project is nearly complete.
- On Wednesday, September 9, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., crack sealing will take place on E 27th between Central Blvd and Spring Blvd. Expect 5- to 10-minute delays.
- Construction to repair a 100-year-old wastewater pipe is happening at Crest Drive and Willamette Street this week. Sidewalks on Crest Drive may be closed at times. Traffic impact is low.
