Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: Construction is happening near the corners of 18th and Hilyard Street this week. Lanes may be reduced to a single lane, so expect moderate delays.
- There is minor construction in the parking lot at Willamette Street and West 52nd Avenue this week as the project wraps up. The impact is low.
- From today through Friday, construction is taking place at W 30th Ave and Portland St for a new retirement community. On-street parking is closed on the west side of Portland St from W 30th Ave to W 29th Pl, and in some areas north of W 29th Pl to W 28th Ave. Pedestrians cannot use the west side of Portland St between W 30th Ave and W 29th Pl and should use the temporary sidewalk on the east side. Pedestrians on W 30th Ave west of Portland St should use the temporary path on the north side of W 30th Ave.
- Sidewalk repairs are happening on McLean Blvd this week. The road stays open, but flaggers may direct traffic. Most repairs will finish this week, except for one ramp at the McLean cul-de-sac, which will be done next week. The following week, crews will remove erosion and traffic control measures.
- Paving work is happening this week on Vine Maple Street, Spring Boulevard, Pine Canyon Drive, Huckleberry Street, and South Ridge Drive, including nearby sidewalks. Roads may be narrowed to one lane or temporarily closed, so expect moderate delays.
- No work is planned for the 100 Year Wastewater Pipe Rehabilitation project this week, except on Saturday, October 17, when crews will work near South Eugene High School with no traffic impact. In the following weeks, crews will finish lining a few remaining pipe sections at different locations in the city.
- Construction crews are working on Patterson Street between E 18th Ave and E 24th Ave this week for a safety pilot project. Traffic control and barricades are in place for new bollards, but no traffic impacts are expected.
