- A burglary happened near the 31500 block of Fox Hollow Rd at 1 p.m. on May 15.

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – There is moderate construction work and paving happening on East 24th Avenue, Hilyard Street, and Alder Street. Expect some delays or disruptions in these areas.
– Construction at the intersection of W 30th Avenue and Portland Street is causing moderate traffic impacts.
– Hilyard Street is closed to all traffic except emergency vehicles between 36th and 38th Avenue for the entire week. Use West Amazon or Donald Street for north-south travel. Side streets off Hilyard, including E 39th Avenue and Dillard, remain open. Temporary ramps are available for homes that only have access from Hilyard. Construction may be quieter on Wednesday and Thursday as the road base cures before asphalt is applied on Friday.
– Construction is underway at 18th Avenue and Hilyard Street to replace the signal light. The upgrade includes a new bicycle signal for westbound cyclists, improved signal timing, shorter pedestrian crossings, and new ADA-compliant curb ramps. Traffic impact is expected to be moderate.
