Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: Here are the summaries in plain language:
– Construction is happening near 18th and Hilyard Street this week. There may be delays and traffic could be reduced to one lane.
– Construction near Willamette Street and 52nd Avenue will cause delays this week. Heavy equipment will be moving in and out, and access to the Ridgeline Trail and parking lot near South Willamette Street may be closed at times.
– From today through Friday, parking will be closed on the west side of Portland Street between W 30th Avenue and W 29th Place, and in some areas north to W 28th Avenue. The west sidewalk of Portland Street between W 30th Avenue and W 29th Place will also be closed. Pedestrians should use the temporary walkway and ramps on the east side.
– Road work on McLean Boulevard will start Monday, July 20. Traffic control and some concrete work will begin Wednesday, July 15 through July 17. Paving starts July 20 at the cul-de-sac east of Graham Drive, and on McLean Boulevard itself on July 27, when the road will be closed to through traffic. Detours will be set up around West 29th to Chambers Street.
– Construction will take place this week on Vine Maple Street, Spring Boulevard, Pine Canyon Drive, Huckleberry Street, and South Ridge Drive, including sidewalks. Expect possible delays, lane reductions, or temporary road closures.
