Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: Here are the local traffic incident summaries in plain language:
– Construction is happening near 18th and Hilyard Street this week. Lanes may be reduced to one, so expect some delays. Watch for signs and cones guiding traffic, and follow detours if you’re walking in the area.
– Construction near Willamette Street and 52nd Avenue is causing major delays this week. Heavy equipment will be moving in and out of the road. The Ridgeline Trail access and parking west of South Willamette Street may be closed as needed.
– From Monday through today, parking is closed on the west side of Portland Street between W 30th Avenue and W 29th Place, and some parking north of W 29th Place to W 28th Avenue. The west sidewalk of Portland Street between W 30th Avenue and W 29th Place is also closed. Pedestrians should use the temporary ramp and sidewalk on the east side.
– Road work on McLean Boulevard starts Monday, July 20. Traffic control and some concrete work are happening from July 15 to today. Paving begins at the cul-de-sac east of Graham Drive on July 20. Starting July 27, McLean Boulevard will be closed to through traffic, with detours around West 29th to Chambers Street.
– Construction is happening this week on Vine Maple Street, Spring Boulevard, Pine Canyon Drive, Huckleberry Street, and South Ridge Drive, including nearby sidewalks. Expect possible delays, lane reductions, or temporary closures, and follow posted signs.
