Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: – Prairie Road is closed to all traffic between Highway 99 and Maxwell Road from August 17 to about September 18 due to railroad crossing replacement work. Use Irving Road, Beltline, or Chambers Road as detours.
  • Construction is happening on Bethel Road and nearby sidewalks during the week of September 7. Expect delays and possible single-lane traffic.
  • River Road is under construction from Randy Pape Beltline to Green Lane. Most work happens at night, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. During the week of September 6, crews are installing ramps and a bus stop near Division Avenue and Santa Clara Avenue. One lane north of Santa Clara Avenue will be closed during the day for curb and gutter work, but traffic will still move in both directions using a single lane. No other lane closures are expected outside nighttime hours.
  • Starting September 7, crews are finishing up work on Spring Creek Drive between River Road and Awbrey Park Elementary School. The main construction is done, and only minor work remains. Traffic impact is expected to be low.
