It’s not clear if federal food benefits will be suspended this weekend, but either way uncertainty over food access remains part of life for many college students at University of Oregon and Lane Community College. Grace Chinowsky visited a food bank near the UO campus.

Unionized Starbucks workers held a practice picket today at the Eugene shop at Seventh and Washington, as they continue to be at loggerheads with the company over a new contract.

A former UO student who was hit by a falling tree on campus last winter and paralyzed is suing the university for negligence and asking for $16 million in damages. Jaime Adame has the story.
