Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – At W 5th Avenue and Adams Street, construction for Whiteaker Commons has closed parking on the west side of Adams Street between W 6th Avenue and W 5th Avenue, and on the east side from W 5th Alley north. W 5th Alley is closed between Monroe Street and Adams Street. Pedestrians can’t use the east side of Adams Street at W 5th Alley or the south side of W 5th Avenue from Adams Street toward Monroe Street. Pedestrians can use the west side of Adams Street from W 6th Avenue to W 5th Avenue, with detours crossing W 5th Avenue for eastbound foot traffic. The eastbound bike lane on W 5th Avenue is closed near the construction area.
- Adams Street is partially closed from W 6th Avenue to W 5th Avenue, with parking closed on the west side and the east side closed from W 5th Alley north. W 5th Alley is closed between Monroe Street and Adams Street. Pedestrian access is blocked on the east side of Adams Street at W 5th Alley and on the south side of W 5th Avenue from Adams Street toward Monroe Street. Pedestrians walking west on the south side of W 5th Avenue should use the north side at Monroe Street. The eastbound bike lane on W 5th Avenue near Adams Street is closed; bicyclists should detour north on Adams Street to W 4th Avenue, then east to Monroe Street, and south back to W 5th Avenue. – Near the corners of 18th and Hilyard Street, construction is happening during the week of July 20. Expect delays and possible lane reductions to a single lane.
- At the intersection of Mill Street and Broadway near Whole Foods, construction will continue during the week of July 20. The center lane of eastbound Broadway will be closed, reducing traffic to a single lane.
