- A person was arrested after a car crash that caused injuries near Jefferson St. and W 18th Ave. in Eugene. The incident happened at 11 a.m. on Sept. 17.
- A person was cited for reckless endangering instead of being taken into custody. The incident happened near W 6th Ave. and Fillmore St. in Eugene at 6 p.m. on Sept. 17.
- Police made an arrest related to a warrant near 330 W 7th Ave., Eugene at 4 a.m. on Sept. 17.
- Police arrested someone during a person stop near W 8th Ave. and Charnelton St. in Eugene at 3 a.m. on Sept. 17.
- A person was stopped and arrested near 824 Charnelton St., Eugene at 11 p.m. on Sept. 17.

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – Adams Street is partially closed between W 6th Avenue and W 5th Avenue on the west side, and from W 5th Alley north on the east side. W 5th Alley is closed between Monroe Street and Adams Street. Pedestrian access is closed on the east side of Adams Street at W 5th Alley and on the south side of W 5th Avenue from Adams Street to midblock toward Monroe Street. If you’re walking west on the south side of W 5th Avenue, use the north side at Monroe Street. The eastbound bike lane on W 5th Avenue near Adams Street is closed; bicyclists should detour north on Adams Street to W 4th Avenue, then east to Monroe Street, and south back to W 5th Avenue.
- Construction is happening near the corners of 18th and Hilyard Street during the week of September 14. Expect delays and possible lane reductions to a single lane.
- From September 14 to today, construction is taking place on the south side of Broadway between Mill and Patterson streets. Crews are working from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., closing the right lane after 6th Avenue for southbound Coburg Road and viaduct traffic, with only one lane open between Mill and Patterson. On the evening of Wednesday, September 16, Broadway was closed for southbound to eastbound traffic at 8th Avenue, with drivers detoured via Pearl Street and back to Broadway at Mill Street. Drivers can also use 13th Avenue eastbound to avoid the construction area.
- Construction crews are working on Patterson Street between E 18th Ave and E 24th Ave during the week of September 14. They are removing old road markings and starting to install new ones. Traffic is limited to one lane on the side of the road opposite the work area.
