Two men and a woman, all from Eugene, were arrested Friday, Dec. 12, in connection with the October shooting of a man during a reported home invasion robbery in Keizer.
Police in Keizer, about 70 miles north of Eugene, on Sunday announced the arrests of 20-year-old Daniel Tijerina, 20-year-old Romeo Luna and 19-year-old Franki Salyers-Livingston on suspicion of attempted murder, first-degree robbery and other charges.
Keizer police said “evidence gathering and surveillance operations in multiple counties” led detectives to Eugene, where officers — assisted by Salem police and Eugene police’s SWAT team — made the arrests Friday and also executed search warrants at “multiple locations.” One firearm was seized, police said.
On the night of Oct. 24, a 20-year-old Keizer man “ran to neighbors for help and reported he was shot and robbed inside his apartment by one female and two males, all armed with guns,” Keizer police said, adding that guns and other belongings reportedly taken in the robbery.
Keizer police said detectives believe “the home-invasion robbery was a targeted attack, with prior knowledge of the victim and his possessions.” The shooting victim survived life-threatening injuries after being shot in the chest, police said.
