It’s another top-10 matchup for Oregon. Coming off a thrilling double-overtime win against Penn State, followed by a bye week, the Ducks return to Autzen to face a formidable Indiana team.

Follow along with Tyson Alger’s updates from the game.

6:03: Gutcheck failed: Moore has a pass batted at the line and Indiana comes up with the interception.

6:23: It’s gutcheck time for the Ducks, who just allowed another 75-yard scoring drive from Indiana to go down 27-20.

12:42: That wasn’t one of those cuts Dan Lanning talked about two weeks ago, that was a full-on haymaker. With the Hoosiers driving, Brandon Finney picked off Fernando Mendoza at the 35-yard line and returned it for a touchdown. It’s 20-20.

14:26: Moore is sacked on the first play of the fourth and the Ducks will punt.

Fourth quarter

End of third quarter: Indiana 20, Oregon 13

We’re heading into the fourth quarter here at Autzen and there’s a chorus of “Let’s go Hoosiers” coming out of the Southwest corner of the stadium. The Ducks have the ball going into the fourth, facing a third-and-11 from their own 37.

2:16: An impressive 9-play, 75-yard scoring drive for Indiana — aided by a couple of UO penalties — suddenly has the Ducks in a hole. It’s Indiana 20, Oregon 13.

7:10: We have a tie ballgame. Oregon converted on a 4th-and-long on a pass from Moore to Jeremiah McClellan to get into field goal territory, where Sappington converted from 33 yards out. It’s Indiana 13, Oregon 13.

10:40: Oregon’s defense continues to fly around the field here early in the second half. After Ferguson-Reynolds’ fantastic punt, the Ducks force another three-and-out and take over at the Indiana 38.

11:42: Oregon’s offense can’t do anything with the gift the defense provided them, going three-and-out as well. As a positive, punter James Ferguson-Reynolds pinned the Hoosiers within their own 2-yard line. It’s still Indiana 13, Oregon 10.

13:38: Oregon’s defense comes out of the break with momentum. The Ducks force a three-and-out to force a punt.

Third quarter

End of first half: Oregon 10, Indiana 13

End of second quarter: Well, crisis averted, too, for Indiana. The Ducks moved into the red zone, were stuffed on third down and set up for a 36-yard try, which Sappington missed wide. Indiana got the ball back, moved to midfield and drilled a 57-yard field goal with one second remaining in the half. It’s now Indiana 13, Oregon 10

4:28: Crisis averted for the Ducks, who let Indiana get to midfield before putting on the clamps. Hoosiers will punt, with Oregon getting one last possession before the half.

6:32: Dangerous territory here for the Ducks, who go three-and-out on their fifth drive of the game, giving Indiana the ball with little time left here in the half — and the Hoosiers getting the ball after the break. It’s still 10-10.

8:00: Give the Autzen crowd a lot of credit here: they just blew up another Indiana drive. Going for it on 4th-and-short, Indiana picks up another false start, leading to a punt.

9:18: A promising Oregon drive stalls inside of Indiana territory after Jamari Johnson can’t hang on to a Moore pass to convert on 2nd-and-6. Moore was stopped for no gain on the next play, setting up a 40-yard Atticus Sappington field goal. It’s 10-10.

Start of second quarter

End of first quarter: Oregon 7, Indiana 10

Indiana completed a 9-play, 75-yard touchdown drive with 15 seconds left to go in the first quarter, capped by a Roman Hemby 3-yard run. The Hoosiers go into the first break leading 10-7.

5:15: And the Oregon Ducks are on the board. Facing a 3rd-and-3 at midfield, Dante Moore finds a wide-open Malik Benson down the middle for a 44-yard touchdown. Oregon leads 7-3.

6:05: Give credit to the crowd for that one: a third-and-1 turns into a third-and-66 after an Indiana false start, then Amauri Washington comes up with the sack. It’s still 3-0 Indiana.

8:16: Dan Lanning will not be going for it this time — the Ducks go three-and-out, setting up a fourth-and-long that brings out the UO punt team for the first time today. Indiana takes over on its own 22. Indiana’s defense, so far, is giving the Ducks nowhere to run.

9:42: The Ducks were stymied on the opening drive of the game, being stopped on fourth down to turn the ball over to Indiana. While Indiana took over with great field position, the Ducks were able to limit the Hoosiers to a 42-yard field goal. Indiana leads 3-0.
