Thank you Annie Aguiar for your wonderful story in Lookout Eugene-Springfield about waiting in line all day for the Lucy Dacus concert at the McDonald Theatre. I am clueless about Dacus, but now want to hear her sing.
Even better, I enjoyed wonderful memories of waiting hours in line as a kid for the Radio City Music Hall Christmas shows and many years later to hear Luciano Pavarotti sing in Tosca at the Royal Opera Proms in Covent Garden, where my sister and I were among the first 10 people in the hall. We rushed to the front, sat on the floor, and scooted back until we had the best view.
What wonderful memories, thanks to Annie’s enthusiasm. Thank you.
