I’ve lived in Eugene’s Ward 3 for more than 50 years, and I’m enthusiastically voting for John Barofsky for City Council.
I care about keeping this neighborhood affordable, livable and a great place to raise kids. That’s why we need Barofsky in leadership. He has proven his dedication and ability to get things done.
I first worked with Barofsky in 2018 when he was a volunteer on a city revenue committee. His leadership helped guide the committee’s work and kept it focused and productive.
Barofsky has served on our neighborhood association board for more than 20 years, navigating neighbor-university challenges like parking, new construction and housing, making sure our community’s voice is at the table.
On the city’s Budget Committee and Planning Commission, he has led efforts to build affordable housing, strengthen public safety, create summer youth programs and expand shelter for vulnerable people.
On the Eugene Water & Electric Board, he supported sustainable energy projects and helped lead recovery after the Holiday Farm Fire.
Barofsky is a lifelong Democrat who understands our community and knows how to deliver results. He brings people together to address real, local issues in a thoughtful and effective way.
John Barofsky is the right choice for Ward 3.
