When you look at Sean VanGordon’s record, a pattern starts to show itself, and it’s not a good one.
As Springfield mayor, he is currently rolling out a series of costly tax hikes that add up to millions of dollars in new taxes and fees. That doesn’t sit right with me.
This is a disturbing action for someone currently auditioning for higher office. If this is what he is doing at the city level, how much more will he cost us as a county commissioner?
David Loveall takes a different approach. He’s focused on keeping government accountable and making sure taxpayer dollars are used wisely. When downtown Springfield was down, Loveall cashed out his retirement to help our city rebuild and renovate. He took a chance on Springfield and brought dozens of jobs, businesses and housing to the Springfield core. Loveall didn’t just talk, he acted.
I’m supporting Loveall’s reelection because I know he’ll have our back.
