Regarding the news that PeaceHealth has placed Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend chief hospital executive Jim McGovern on leave, wouldn’t anyone who was treated at the RiverBend Emergency Department have cause to wonder if their care or the outcome experienced by a loved one wasn’t negatively affected by unallowable interference by McGovern?

Shouldn’t people here in our community be thinking about a class action lawsuit? Even if just a “truth commision” so community members know the specific facts about their care and whether it was meddled with? Did a doctor not order a lab test or MRI that might have affected how much life a patient had left?

Just grumbling.
