I have trouble understanding any resistance to the use of the Flock Safety license-plate reader cameras that our police department knows will help in reducing criminal activity in our community.
Most of us follow the laws, and have no problem with the reading of our license plates. Unfortunately the Eugene City Council seems to lean toward those who resist the cameras. Where would we be if in previous years bodies of government across the country had outlawed the use of DNA in investigating and solving crimes?
