The unfolding crisis in Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund investments is having terrible effects, not just on every school district but city and county governments as well.

I’ve followed PERS closely for a number of years. It’s arguably the biggest problem facing the state, but few people seem to care. The Oregon Journalism Project’s reporting could raise awareness.
