Snowden Intern

Brooke Taché is a recent graduate from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s in journalism and a minor in theatre arts. She is an intern with the Charles Snowden Program for Excellence in Journalism.

Brooke is from Murrieta, California, and has always been infatuated with visual storytelling. Her passion for visual arts began a decade ago when she was introduced to theatre and film, ultimately leading to a career in photojournalism.

As a UO student, Brooke worked on the communications team at the Robert D. Clark Honors College, served as a reporter for KVAL, and freelanced for Oregon papers including Eugene Weekly and The Source in Bend. She was also a member of FLUX Magazine at the University of Oregon.

As a journalist, Brooke prides herself on building mutually beneficial relationships within the community whilst producing high-quality work under tight deadlines.
