I want to thank Lookout Eugene-Springfield and Steve Cohen for the heartfelt remembrance of Tom Krumm. As Steve said, he was ever guileless, had great taste in music, and was a thoroughly wonderful person.

For many years after we worked together at KZEL, I would call him “the inevitable Tom Krumm,” because he never failed to show up at every show I ever went to around town. If it was good music, you knew he’d be there. It was impossible not to feel good around him, and, as Steve said, he had the best and most jaw-droppingly accurate outfield arm I’ve ever seen.
