Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: Mill Street is open to one-way northbound traffic only between Main Street and Centennial Boulevard because of reconstruction work. Detour signs are posted to help drivers. From June 16 to about August 31, southbound Laura Street in Springfield (between mileposts .120 and .339) is closed for construction, including utility work, storm system upgrades, sidewalks, and paving. Access fromale Drive to Laura Street is also closed. Northbound Laura Street stays open. Detours are in place. The whole project should be finished by December 31.
