Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Wendy’s at 1930 Mohawk Blvd., was cited for issues during a county health inspection on January 12. The restaurant received a score of 90 out of 100. The inspector found that the dishwasher was not using enough chlorine sanitizer, which is important to properly clean dishes and prevent germs. This was a repeat problem. The person in charge fixed the dishwasher to ensure it dispenses the correct amount of chlorine (50-100 ppm). The inspector retested and confirmed the issue was corrected. (view report)
