Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Chick-fil-a – Gateway at 3450 Gateway St., passed a county health inspection on January 15 with no issues. (view report)

  • A person was reported to have gunshot wounds near 1250 Rainbow Dr, Springfield at 8 p.m. on January 30.
     
  • A car crash with injuries was reported near F St. and 10th St. in Springfield at noon on January 30.
     
  • A missing person was reported near 4140 Virginia Ave., Springfield at 10 p.m. on February 1.
     
  • A juvenile was arrested for a problem involving minors near the 175 block of G St., Springfield at midnight on February 2.
     
  • A burglary was reported near 920 W N St., Springfield on January 30 at 8 p.m.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: Lane County will have off-and-on construction on Laura Street in Springfield, between Scotts Glenn Drive and Harlow Road. Flaggers will direct traffic. Expect minor impacts.
