Inspectors found no soap at the bar’s handwashing sink, low sanitizer levels in the kitchen dishwasher, fruit flies at the bar, and improper materials like foil lining prep fridges. They also noted missing chlorine test strips, a leaking sprayer by the dishwasher, and a missing ceiling panel in the kitchen. The restaurant immediately fixed the soap supply, replaced the sanitizer, received test strips, and was advised to increase cleaning to control fruit flies, repair plumbing, and fix the ceiling to maintain cleanliness and safety. The inspector noted that the restaurant did not have chlorine bleach test strips to check the sanitizer levels in the dishwasher. The staff was required to provide and maintain unexpired test strips to ensure proper sanitizing. The inspector gave the restaurant test strips during the visit, and the issue was fixed immediately.
