  • A person was given a citation instead of being taken into custody during a traffic stop. This happened near 1910 W 6th Ave., Eugene, at midnight on March 26.
     
  • Police arrested someone during a person stop near Dove Lane and Waite St. in Eugene at 10 p.m. on March 25.
     
  • A shoplifting incident happened near 4550 W 11th Ave., Eugene at p.m. on March 25. The person involved was given a citation instead of being taken into custody.
     
  • Police took a report about a stolen vehicle near W 6th Ave. and Polk St. in Eugene on March 25 at 8 p.m.
     
  • A shoplifting incident happened near 427 Barger Dr, Eugene at 8 p.m. on March 25. The person involved was given a citation instead of being taken into custody.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: – Construction is happening in West Eugene to add new lighting and a walking path. is no impact on traffic. – Starting January 28, Lane County is installing signs and guardrails on Crow Road between mileposts 1.38 and 8.13. Flaggers are controlling traffic Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The work is expected to finish by June 30. – Paving work is happening on Grant Street, Hayes Street, Pierce Street, and West 22nd Avenue. The impact on traffic is expected to be low.
