Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – At Maxwell Rd and Prairie Rd, crews are doing minor concrete work at the northeast corner this week. They may also start installing electrical conduit on the west side of Highway 99, across from Prairie Rd. There are no lane closures right now, but cones and signs will be out. Bigger construction and road closures are expected to start in mid-August when railroad work begins.
- Near Prairie Mountain School at St. Charles St and Royal Ave, crews are installing a pedestrian crossing island this week. On Monday, they will cut the asphalt for the island. Concrete work and adjustments to water valves and manholes will happen on Tuesday and Wednesday. The road will stay open, but workers will be present. Night work is planned for Thursday, so follow all construction and detour signs.
