Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Tequila Burrito Bar at 1861 Franklin Blvd., was cited for issues during a county health inspection on June 10. The restaurant received a score of95 out of 100. The inspector noted that the red burrito sauce was not kept at the proper temperature and required immediate reheating to 165°F. Additionally, none of the refrigeration units had internal thermometers, which need to be installed. The soda dispenser nozzle holder and the shelf under the flat top grill were not cleaned frequently enough, requiring daily cleaning. Lastly, the exterior garbage container had standing water and debris, which needs to be cleaned regularly to prevent contamination. (view report)
