Community crime report

  • A report was taken for unauthorized use of a vehicle near 2045 Potter St., Eugene, at 9 a.m. on Sept. 13.
     
  • A person was given a citation instead of being taken into custody during a traffic stop near E Broadway and Patterson St. in Eugene. The incident happened at 1 a.m. on Sept. 13.
     
  • A report of property damage was taken near 1754 Patterson St., Eugene, at noon on Sept. 12.
     
  • An assault was reported near 2125 Franklin Blvd., Eugene at 7 a.m. on Sept. 12.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: – Construction at 18th and Hilyard Street will cause moderate delays this week as lanes may be reduced to a single lane.
  • Major construction at Columbia Street and East 17th Avenue runs from today through Friday, affecting parts of East 17th Avenue (from east of Agate Street to Columbia Street and from East 17th Avenue to Moss Avenue), as well as sections of Columbia Street and Columbia Alley. Vehicle detours will be set up at Agate Street, East 17th Avenue, Columbia Street, Moss Street, and East 19th Avenue. Pedestrian routes and bike lanes on Agate Street and Moss Street will also be detoured or closed. Construction will continue in the area through summer 2027.
  • On Patterson Street between East 18th Avenue and East 24th Avenue, crews will remove and install road markings this week. Traffic will be limited to one lane on the side opposite the work area.
  • Sidewalk repairs at 1912 Moss Street and East 19th Avenue will take place from today through Friday, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. There will be no parking and some sidewalk closures in the area, with traffic delays expected due to limited space.
