Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: – Construction is happening near 18th and Hilyard Street during the week of today. Lanes may be reduced to one, so expect some delays. Traffic cones and signs will guide drivers, bikes, and pedestrians through the area, and construction workers will be available to help.
  • Starting today through Friday, construction will take place at Columbia Street and East 17th Avenue, with work continuing in the area through summer 2027. This includes new storm drains, wastewater and electrical connections, and road improvements. Parts of East 17th Avenue, Columbia Street, and Columbia Alley will be affected, with vehicle detours at Agate Street, East 17th Avenue, Columbia Street, Moss Street, and East 19th Avenue. Pedestrian routes will also be detoured, and bike lanes on Agate Street and Moss Street will be closed and combined with traffic lanes. Large trucks and construction equipment will be in the area.
