Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – Prairie Road is closed to all traffic between Highway 99 and Maxwell Road from August 17 to around October 5 due to construction work at the railroad crossing and intersection. Use Irving Road, Beltline, or Chambers Road as detours.
- Construction is happening on Bethel Road and nearby sidewalks during the week of September 28. Expect possible delays and single-lane traffic.
- Starting September 27, crews are working on River Road between Randy Pape Beltline and Green Lane. They are installing a ramp at Santa Clara Avenue and finishing a bus stop north of Santa Clara. The bus stop lane may reopen this week, depending on concrete tests. No other daytime lane closures are planned, but there will be pedestrian detours.
- On Spring Creek Drive between River Road and Awbrey Park Elementary School, crews are finishing up the Safe Routes to School project this week. Only minor corrections and clean-up remain, so traffic impact is low.
