Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: – Prairie Road is closed to all traffic between Highway 99 and Maxwell Road from August 17 to about September 18 due to construction. Use detours via Irving Road, Beltline, or Chambers Road.
  • During the week of September 14, construction on Bethel Road and nearby sidewalks may cause delays, with the road possibly reduced to a single lane. –
  • Starting September 13, construction on River Road between Randy Pape Beltline and Green Lane will include ramp installation at Santa Clara Avenue and new bus stops north of Santa Clara. One lane north of Santa Clara Avenue will be closed during the day while work is done, but traffic will continue in both directions using a single lane. Other lane closures will only happen at night.
  • For the week of September 14, crews will be working on Spring Creek Drive between River Road and Awbrey Park Elementary School for the Awbrey Park Safe Routes to School Project. Most construction is finished, and only minor work and clean-up remain, with little impact on traffic.
