Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: – Prairie Road is closed to all traffic between Highway 99 and Maxwell Road from August 17 to about September 18 due to construction. Use detours via Irving Road, Beltline, or Chambers Road.
  • Construction is happening on Bethel Road and nearby sidewalks during the week of September 14. Expect delays and possible single-lane traffic.
  • Starting September 13, construction is underway on River Road between Randy Pape Beltline and Green Lane. A ramp is being installed at Santa Clara Avenue and River Road, and new bus stops are being added north of Santa Clara. One lane north of Santa Clara Avenue will be closed during the day while work is done, but traffic will still move in both directions using a single lane.
  • Crews are working on Spring Creek Drive between River Road and Awbrey Park Elementary School during the week of September 14. Most work is finished, and only minor corrections and clean-up remain. Traffic impact is expected to be low.
