Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: – Prairie Road is closed to all traffic between Highway 99 and Maxwell Road from August 17 to about October 5 due to construction work at the railroad crossing and intersection. Use detours via Irving Road, Beltline, or Chambers Road.
  • Construction is happening on Bethel Road and nearby sidewalks during the week of today. Expect delays and possible lane reductions to a single lane.
  • Construction is ongoing on River Road from Randy Pape Beltline to Green Lane. This week, workers are installing a ramp at Santa Clara Avenue and River Road and adding bus stops north of Santa Clara. Pedestrian detours are in place. Lane closures on River Road may continue into this week if concrete needs more time to cure.
  • On Spring Creek Drive between River Road and Awbrey Park Elementary School, crews are finishing up work for the Awbrey Park Safe Routes to School Project this week. Only cleanup and minor corrections remain, so traffic impact is low.
