Community crime report

  • An assault was reported near 3318 Gateway St., Springfield, at 11 p.m. on Aug. 28.
     
  • There was a threat and harassment incident near the 89700 block of Armitage Rd at 6 p.m. on Aug. 28.
     
  • A disturbance and dispute happened near the 3300 block of Coburg Rd at 11 p.m. on Aug. 28.
     
  • A hit-and-run was reported near 2900 Gateway St., Springfield, at noon on Aug. 28.
     
  • There was an illegal fire reported near McKenzie View Dr. at 7 a.m. on Aug. 28.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: Construction on Old Coburg Road to upgrade stormwater facilities is mostly finished, with no work happening this week. Crews will return in the fall for final cleanup and planting. There is no impact on traffic.
