Good morning, Lookout Eugene-Springfield,

The director of the Springfield Library put together a scenario explaining where cuts might be made if the library’s budget has to shrink by $500,000. The projection calls for cutting three staff positions, one day of operation and $89,000 from the book budget. Lillian Schrock-Clevenger reports.

Our partners at the Oregon Journalism Project have a Q&A with Dan Rayfield, Oregon’s rookie attorney general, who has been busy suing Donald Trump.

Annie Aguair wrote a fun one about WOW Hall and the WOW-A-Thon happening this weekend. The first WOW-A-Thon raised the money that saved the historic building from demolition. The second is to celebrate the half-century of music and community since.
