Happy Friday evening,
So, there’s a Ducks game at Autzen tomorrow. If you’re a fan, you know that already. If you don’t care, here’s your Non-Fan Pro Tip of the Week: 12:30 p.m. tomorrow would be a good time to go grocery shopping. See you there!
- If you like football but can’t afford Ducks tickets, you could hustle over to North Eugene High School for our prep game of the week. The Highlanders will be hosting Corvallis starting at 7 tonight. Mike McInally rounds up all the other matches, meets and games involving Lane County high schools as well: football, soccer, volleyball and cross-country.
- We have not published a lot of editorials here at Lookout, but our editorial board posted one today, calling for the resignation of Lane Community College board member Zachary Mulholland, after he was censured this week by his colleagues for bullying behavior. Have thoughts on the situation? Send us a letter to the editor.
- Finally, President Donald Trump this afternoon was asked if he planned to send National Guard troops to additional cities. He said he planned to. And while he would not say for sure which city, he mused that Portland was a possibility, adding that “it’s like living in hell.”
