Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Old Crow Coffee Company – Mu at 6900 Main St., was cited for issues during a county health inspection on August 7. The restaurant scored 92 out of 100. The inspector found that staff could not identify allergens or ingredients in baked goods, which is required to protect customers with allergies. The restaurant must train employees on food safety and allergy awareness and keep ingredient information accessible. Additionally, baked goods were sourced from an unlicensed private baker, which is not allowed. The restaurant must stop using these and only use baked goods from approved suppliers. These issues need to be fixed immediately to ensure food safety and compliance. (view report)
