Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – Adams Street is partially closed between W 6th Avenue and W 5th Avenue due to construction. Parking is closed on the west side, and the east side is closed from W 5th Alley northward. W 5th Alley is closed between Monroe Street and Adams Street. Pedestrian access is blocked on the east side of Adams Street at W 5th Alley and on the south side of W 5th Avenue from Adams Street to midblock toward Monroe Street. If you’re walking west on the south side of W 5th Avenue, use the north side at Monroe Street. The eastbound bike lane on W 5th Avenue near Adams Street is closed; bicyclists should detour north on Adams Street to W 4th Avenue, then east to Monroe Street, and south back to W 5th Avenue.
- Construction is happening near the corners of 18th and Hilyard Street during the week of August 31. Expect delays and possible lane reductions to a single lane.
- Broadway is under construction between Mill and Patterson from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crews are working on the south side, removing the southernmost lane and installing a new, wider sidewalk and curb. Traffic is reduced to a single lane from Mill to Patterson. The left lane on the viaduct between 6th and 8th Avenue is also closed for drivers coming south on Coburg Road heading east.
