Property development

  • A new zoning application has been filed with the City of Eugene, proposing to extend the expiration date for certain types of land use approvals. Specifically, the project would affect Type II, Type III, Expedited Land Division, and Middle Housing Land Division approvals. If approved, this change would allow these types of land use decisions to remain valid for a longer period before expiring. (view application)
     

Community crime report

  • A vehicle and a bicycle were involved in a crash. This happened near E 10th Ave. and Pearl St. in Eugene. The incident was reported at noon on May 28.
     
  • A report was taken for unauthorized use of a vehicle near 959 Franklin Blvd., Eugene at 3 p.m. on May 28.
     
  • Police arrested someone for using a vehicle without permission near 659 E Broadway in Eugene at 9 a.m. on May 28.
     
  • A person was arrested after a dispute near 1250 Ferry St., Eugene on May 27 at 9 p.m.
     
  • Police helped Public Works and made an arrest near Chambers St. and Northwest Expressway in Eugene at 8 a.m. on May 28.
