Firefighters from nine agencies responded early Sunday, Sept. 27, to blazes at three homes near one another in Oakridge.

Oakridge Fire and EMS received a call at about 5:16 a.m. about a house fire on the 47600 block of Fairy Glen Drive, the fire department said.

Upon arrival at 5:26 a.m., firefighters discovered two additional homes on fire at the adjacent Monte Vista Mobile Home Park.

The crew on scene called for help from other fire agencies, with a Eugene Springfield Fire engine arriving at about 6:14 a.m. to help in dousing the flames.

Oakridge Fire said fire crews kept the fire from spreading to additional homes. The Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.
