American singer-songwriter, cultural icon, folk singer and Timothée Chalamet muse Bob Dylan will perform this summer at Eugene’s Cuthbert Amphitheater.
This year’s tour will see Dylan add some twists to his set list. Dylan, now 84 years old, launched the tour this past weekend in Omaha, Nebraska, where he played his song “Man In The Long Black Coat” for the first time since 2013 and performed a new cover of Eddie Cochran’s 1958 song “Nervous Breakdown.”
He will perform in Eugene on Tuesday, June 9 at 6:30 p.m., in a show joined by Lucinda Williams and her band as well as the John Doe Folk Trio, lead by the former X frontman, as opening acts.
The concert marks a return to Eugene for Dylan, who has played in the city numerous times over the years, including a famous concert at Autzen Stadium with the Grateful Dead in 1987 and most recently a performance at the Hult Center in 2022.
